About
One of the main focuses of our project is to investigate the relationship between stigma towards mental health with Latin America and the Caribbean, and how this stigma impacts the formation of mental health policies and their changes over the years. Through an anthropological lens, we want to examine how stigma has shaped mental health policy reform in Latin America and the Caribbean. We will examine case studies from different countries in order to further our understanding on the role stigma plays in mental health policy and how policies have evolved over time.
